Bollards: the Bollax family

The Bollax bollard range covers the main optical jobs along a path. Bollax CON is a top-lit aluminium bollard producing 1,500 lm with a controlled 34-degree beam at 2.2 m height, and Bollax Z uses directional COB Z-cut optics to graze path edges without glare. Bollax L is an SMD bollard with a PC lens and glass top for general illumination, Bollax MR masks the output downward to keep facades and night skies dark, Bollax 360 throws even light through a clear acrylic cylinder on all sides, and Bollax G uses a clear glass lens to wash planting beds and garden borders.

Columns for open pedestrian areas

Where a path becomes an open zone, the Bollax column lights take over. Bollax Quadbeam throws 320 degrees from a single 2.2 m pole at 6,000 lm, which reduces the number of poles a site needs, while Bollax CON B is the COB column variant with an opal diffuser, Bollax GB gives a general beam for open pedestrian zones and building surrounds, and Bollax LB is the low-beam option that keeps light on the ground and out of neighbouring windows.

In-ground luminaires: the Splash family

The Splash in-ground family recesses light into the surface. Round units — Splash RD, Splash RD CB, Splash RD Tiltable and Splash RD CB Tiltable — carry stainless trim, IP67/IK10 drive-over ratings and selectable 9, 25 and 40 degree beams, with tiltable inner modules for aimed facade washing. Splash SQ is the square variant with toughened glass, and Splash L is a linear in-ground luminaire up to 2,400 lm for path edges and facade grazing. Drive-over ratings matter in forecourts and pedestrian decks where the fixture sits in the traffic path.
