The HansaGreen road and street lighting range supplies luminaires for municipal roads, highways and urban infrastructure projects. Distributed in Saudi Arabia by Alzab Algharbiyah, the street light family — Pelican D, Falcon G and Falcon S — is specified for urban roads, residential areas, rural roads, pedestrian crossings and parking, where wide mounting spacing, high ambient heat and airborne dust make optical control, sealing and long service life the deciding factors.

Street light luminaires in the range

The Pelican D road luminaire offers Type I to V distributions at 145 lm/W with 5,800 to 21,750 lm across models D-40 to D-150, an IP66 and IK08 sealed aluminium alloy body and tool-free maintenance access, plus a BUG B1-U0-G2 rating for controlled spill light. The Falcon G is the highest-efficacy road light in the range at 160 lm/W, reaching 38,400 lm for main corridors with full cut-off optics and low glare. The Falcon S shares that platform in a compact body at 160 lm/W, with dust and moisture protection rated IP66 and a grey standard finish with special colours on request.

Optics and durability for Saudi road projects

Beam selection by road class is the first design decision: Type I to V distributions let a lighting designer match the carriageway width, while 100,000-hour lumen maintenance and full cut-off optics reduce relamping rounds on long stretches. Sealed IP66 housings stand up to coastal humidity in the Eastern Province, desert dust on rural links and the temperature swing of exposed urban roads. Tool-free opening means a maintenance crew can service a fixture on a pole without returning to the depot for adapters.

Choosing the right road luminaire

Listed applications for the range are urban roads, residential areas, rural roads, pedestrian crossings and parking, which covers most items on a municipal lighting schedule within one product family. Selection starts from road class and mounting height, then confirms the lumen package against the chosen distribution: the Pelican D spans D-40 to D-150 models, while the Falcon G extends to Falcon G-240 where a main corridor needs more light from fewer poles. Fixtures are supplied in a grey standard finish with special colours available on request, so a housing can be matched to existing street furniture during a replacement programme.

Supply support for municipal and contractor packages

Alzab Algharbiyah has served infrastructure and government sectors since 1989 and has delivered more than 500 projects, so road lighting packages are handled as part of wider electrical and civil works rather than as a standalone purchase. The complete lighting category index is on the HansaGreen lighting hub, with partner brands listed on our products page. Continuation of the same corridor is covered by tunnel lights for underpasses and bores, and urban lights for pole-top areas and plazas beside the carriageway.
