Cable support is the visible backbone of any electrical installation, and OBO Bettermann — the German manufacturer established in 1911 — has built its reputation on it. The KTS Cable support systems segment covers cable trays, mesh cable trays, cable ladders, industrial ducts and support structures for industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects. Alzab Algharbiyah supplies KTS across Saudi Arabia from Dammam and Riyadh, supporting contractors with product selection, quantities and delivery schedules aligned to MEP and civil works programmes. All seven OBO segments are listed from the OBO Bettermann segment hub.
Cable trays carry power and control cables along walls, ceilings and plant areas. The KTS range includes RKS-MagicAr 35 FS and RKS-MagicAr 60 FS trays, the RKS 60 FS perforated tray and the WKSG 110 FS wide span tray for heavier loads and longer spans. Perforated and solid designs balance ventilation, cable protection and installation speed, and the FS finish suits the indoor and sheltered conditions common in regional projects.
Mesh cable trays give open, lightweight routing where cables are added or re-arranged frequently. GR-MagicAr 35 G and GR-MagicAr 55 G trays, the CGR 50 FT C mesh tray and the SGR 105 G heavy-duty tray cover light to demanding loads. Their open structure simplifies cable ties, bending and heat dissipation, which is useful in data rooms, service corridors and plant decks.
Cable ladders handle heavy power cables over long runs and vertical sections. The range covers LG 60 and LG 110 ladders, the LCIS 60 ladder for C30 fixing, and the WKLG 110 FS wide span ladder. Rungs, bend sections and fittings allow a continuous route from switchroom to load, while the open ladder format keeps large cables supported without excessive weight.
Industrial ducts provide a protected channel where cables need mechanical defence or a tidier line. AZ small ducts in 50 FS and 100 FS sizes, the luminaire support channel 50 FS and the luminaire support tray FS combine cable routing with mounting for lighting and services, reducing the number of separate fixtures fixed to the structure.
Support structures carry the routing system itself: TP supports in FS and FT versions and the US 3 support in FT and A2 variants, sized to hold trays and ladders at the required height. Coordinating supports with trays at design stage avoids clashes with HVAC and plumbing routes and shortens installation time on site.
Where a project also requires a local containment alternative, Alzab supplies Barqan cable trays alongside the KTS range so clients can match specification, finish and lead time. Trays that continue into finished rooms are usually paired with LFS cable routing systems, while fixing into the structure uses VBS anchors and fasteners from the same manufacturer.
