HansaGreen tunnel lights are specialised luminaires delivering uniform, glare-free illumination for traffic safety. Distributed in Saudi Arabia by Alzab Algharbiyah, the Tunnel Pro range is specified for highway tunnels, rail and metro tunnels, underpasses and industrial infrastructure, where a driver moving from bright daylight into a bore needs consistent light on the roadway without a harsh transition or reflected glare off the tunnel walls.

Tunnel Pro 200W and 300W luminaires

The Tunnel Pro 200W is a 200 W LED tunnel luminaire producing 28,574 lm at 142.9 lm/W with symmetric 33.1-degree optics, suited to standard tunnel sections and underpasses. The Tunnel Pro 300W delivers 45,600 lm at 152 lm/W with 33.7-degree optics across a 760 mm body, making it the choice for longer sections where spacing between fittings must be stretched. Both share the narrow symmetric beam needed to throw light along the carriageway rather than into the driver's eyes, and both sit in sealed bodies built for the exhaust, vibration and cleaning regime of a working tunnel.

Uniform, glare-free lighting for traffic safety

Tunnel lighting is a uniformity problem before it is a brightness problem: thresholds, transition zones and interior sections each need light distributed evenly enough that objects stay visible against the background. The symmetric 33 to 34 degree optics of the Tunnel Pro family support that zoning, while high efficacy keeps energy demand down on installations that run 24 hours a day. Listed applications cover highway tunnels, rail and metro tunnels, underpasses and industrial infrastructure — the enclosed circulation spaces that also appear in infrastructure and government sector packages.

Sizing a tunnel installation

Fixture spacing follows the section calculations: the symmetric optics of both models are selected against tunnel width and the distance to the next fitting, with the 300 W version covering longer sections where wall or ceiling positions are limited. The 760 mm body of the Tunnel Pro 300W provides the heat-sinking needed for continuous operation, and service access is planned around maintenance closures so a unit can be exchanged without holding traffic longer than necessary. Because both fittings share one optical family, an operator can stock a single spare type across sections of different length.

Supply and specification support

Alzab Algharbiyah has delivered more than 500 projects since 1989 and supplies tunnel lighting within complete electrical packages, coordinating supplies with cable routes, emergency provisions and control gear. The full lighting category index is on the HansaGreen brand hub and the wider portfolio is on our products page. Approaches and approach roads are covered by road and street lights, and adjacent industrial areas, depots and car parks by industrial lights.
